bought a vintage womans bicycle, it steers terribly,the wheel is straight and the tires are not lumpy but it d
it does not like to stay going straight, i have to really focus on steering because it tends to want to run off one direction or another , it is the womens style frame (no cross bar) i have one other bike that did this and i never figured it out. i am thinking it is maybe the frame design? i weigh 135 pounds , could i be causeing the frame to flex and making it steer poorly?
the handlebars move freely when im not on the bike but they seem tighter when im on it…
you need to disassemble the ” head ” ( where the handlebars and front fork come together ) and repack the bearings with bearing grease, it’s binding up….
